BMW Bulletin for new X5 orders
Read the below memo from my dealer. Does anyone have more information on this such as if the the drivers assist packages will be coming back or are they permanently gone since the new X5 model is coming out soon? The drivers assist packages are no longer available as on option on X5 on bmwusa build site.
X5 ZDA (Drivers Assistance Package) (ZDB Drivers Assistance Plus Package), (ZPK Parking Assistance Package) and (ZPX Executive Package) ZDA, Drivers Assistance ZDB Drivers Assistance Plus, and ZPK Parking Assistance package were removed from a significant number of stock orders. In the case of ZPK we replaced it with option 5DL Surround view cameras and made 5DL a standalone option. These modifications were completed Monday April 23, 2018. Also as a result of the supply restriction the following options have been turned off for online ordering modification ZDA, ZDB, ZPK and ZPX. An updated Ordering guide will be made available later today Wednesday April 25th reflecting the changes on the packages noted above. |

Interesting. Seems that they're retooling for the new model.
We'll soon say "so long" to F15, and welcome G05 -along with its ugly kidney grills! |

I'm currently waiting for my X5 (with ZDA and ZPK) to arrive with a build date of April 9th, so I was a bit concerned after reading the OP. A quick VIN decode in fact listed none of those packages, but did include the stand-alone options 5AG Lane Change Warning, 5AS Driving Assistant, 5DL Surround View, and 5DP Park Assistant. Looks good to go.

yeah, my dealer actually changed one of their preexisting orders to match our specs as a VIN hadn't been assigned yet. That gave us the early April build date vice a May slot. I don't have the DA Plus/ACC, etc. Best of luck with your build.
