Thanks. Not fully clear on the consensus :

Does BM3?

a) increases stock throttle response
b) decreases stock throttle response
c) does not change stock throttle response

Side question, can anybody comment on ESS tune?

Thanks for tip. But no idea what that license is for. All F vehicles is not the same as N63TU specific.

PM'd seller and no response.

Mine is a bit lazy in comfort mode at low RPM with BM3 but power is instant in sport mode. That being said, I took it easy after first installing the tune in the low RPM range. I'm going to 'reset learned adaptations' and drive it aggressively to see if it helps in comfort mode.

Anyone has a full 0-60 or 1/4 mile log ?
Or 30-100mph starting from 2000rpm to show a full story?

These logs help Support Team at PTF so please get yourself the data and provide it to them if you "FEEL" something. The great thing about BM3 unlike others is there's constant improvement/updates on the OTS maps. So its a great value!

Are there any options for tuning the transmission?

Xhp doesn’t do X cars for example...

proTUNING Freaks is finishing their Transmission Flash for the N55 8AT (except M2 and M235 as no limiter in 3rd/6th there) guys in the next month or two.

If N63TU users start capturing full 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th gear logs I'm sure PTF Support team can see if there was any type of improvement or limiter needed.

Hey, do you know how much difference between stage 1 91map and 93 map?
I'm running stage 1 91 map right now, but thinking to switch to 93map or just do the mods and to stage 2.

So will I be able to feel it easily between 91 and 93 map?

Maybe here someone can give me some advice on my N63TU self-made tune...

https://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1617324

I asked BM3 "support" several times, but they refused...

Hello, I have stage 2 catless setup, today I got these errors, car missfired and pulled black smoked. Everything happened when I was running to the hill at about half throttle. What could be wrong? 🤔

1/4 Mile Times at 5,813' Elevation

Went to Bandimere last night, kind of a last minute deal, to see what my 50i could do. It has a Dinan lid and filters and a BM3 91 octane tune that i just put in that day with about 50 miles driving around town before i went to the track.

Bandimere is at 5,813' so not sure how that affects 1/4 mile times. First 2 runs the temp was in the mid 70's and last 2 runs probably upper 60's.

Hopefully, someone can tell me if these numbers are good or bad ? My times are on the right.

Dan

Those aren’t that bad , the 5,800 elevation really hurts but you can probably improve those a little. That’s basically what stock 50i is suppose to run . I all’s see people slips for Bandimere and there always considerably down compared to others.

According to DragTimes last night at 9 pm the DA was 8,760, which was the time of my last and best run.

Also says corrected 1/4 time is 12.09 at 113.308 mph ?

I was actually going to ask what the DA was, but yeah that corrected time sounds right with you running 91 octane. There a few guys running various tunes on 93 that ran like 11.8xx to 11.9xx, so I would say you did real good for the elevation and the DA.

The 60' on the first run was really off, better on the second. Get it sub-2.0 and watch your ET drop! When are you going next? Thinking about going up that way myself.

Going out of town next wed back July 7, so prolly sometime after that. BTW my times are on the right all sub 2's 60 foot.

Maybe try some 100 octane next time, not sure I want to do catless DP's maybe high flow cats ???

Surprised my times were similar to Challengers, mustangs, Cady, even srt8.

That tells you everything you need to know right there, your car is running strong , lots of cars run slower times there.

Great job guys with this thread. A lot of good info.

I'm running a 2014 550 xdrive and this was some of the info I've been looking for. I've got 60k on it now and been running RC Ultimate -- C setting. Been okay, but I need more.

New plugs will be in tomorrow (NGK, 1 range colder). Going to go with BM3 and probably get the whole map package as well. I've been running e85 in my play car for almost 10 years...its like $2/gal race gas. So, E30 should give me a little bump in timing.

Stock cats for now, but seriously thinking about going catless. Just dont want it to sound like crap. Need to hear it in person I suppose. Either way, I go to the track pretty often with my other car, so I'll report back any findings and post em up. I know this is a F15 forum, but we share the same engine

Thats who I'm going to go through. Couple dollars off retail from PTF and download cable is included in their price as well.
