Spring help for my 2016 X5M

New to BMW with my 2016 X5 M and reading all these posts on the VTF Springs. Would love a if someone with them can tell me how the ride is in the 3 modes:
Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus and what changes you noticed and would you do it again?

Had my H&R VTF springs installed today and wow. The ride as to handling is amazing but the bumps are way to annoying. All the threads I read were pretty mixed reviews. I'll try for a bit and let you know what I think.

Way easier to control on launch and not bouncy at all. I actually felt it was a little too bouncy before for an M. Comfort mode drives nice and handles bumps very nice. Sport is a little sportier and Sport Plus is amazing. It makes the car so much more fun to drive. The springs firm up the suspension so the bounce finishes quicker. To me it is a better ride. I was worried after some of the posts I read. Pot holes no problem and no issues. And lowering the vehicle actually gives you more control over the car. Turns are way more fun! Coming from a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S I can honestly say my X5M is more fun to drive!

Looking good.
A wheel spacer will complete it and the properly painted reflector.

What is a properly painted reflector?
Body color.
So it will blend seamlessly to the car.

Gotcha. I think the smoked kit give it a little more boldness. I did my taillights as well. Looks really good on the grey. To each their own! Appreciate the input.

Springs coming off and going back to factory. Can't take the bumps. Looks great and drives very sporty but the bumps get extremely annoying as I drive a lot. I've had H&R Springs on about 5 of my cars and none drove as bad as these do. I'll miss the look but not the bumps. Just my 2 cents.

sorry to hear. have you thought about kw v3? i hear there are much smoother then h&r. i went for a test drive last week in a x5m with kw v3, it was amazing. it handled the bumps much much smoother then h&r as it comes with 4 dampening shocks. currently kw v3 is having a $350 off sale until may 31st.

What the cost of the KW installed? Any issue with the boot shaft? How many miles have you put in the KW?

I'll have to take a look at them and see if I can get a ride first in one.

Are you running on Run Flats or Non RF?
I noticed a difference in just different RF tires.
My 19" winter RF Michelin's are softer than the 19" RF OEM's.
Soon I will switch to 20" non RF summer tires, and see how that goes.
I love the ride, but my gf is def not a fan..

Too bad you didn't like the ride, this looks great!
One thing I've always wondered, why do the X5M have the camera near middle of bumper instead of between the grilles?

Are you in California?

This car only been installed few days ago.
Boots are fine on the one that I've installed years ago.
All cars have axle boots and they do wears out and need to be replaced.
