It sounds like it would be better to sell the car to the dealer so you get a tax break (works out to be an around 7k of taxes you would save). That would value your car at around 96k

I know Steve, I'm still on the fence. I think I may be heart broken if I get rid of it. I'll make my final decision soon whether I keep it or not. Maybe it's ok to have to super cars after all. I just hate commuting in a $100,000+ car! Funny, today I had the oil changed and the battery replaced free! What a scam! Lmao! A battery that needs to be replaced at 13,500 miles!

Nothing wrong with having a 991 Turbo and an X5M! You just might have difficulty choosing which one to drive!!

I'm surprised that you needed a new battery after 13,500 miles. At least it was covered under the warranty. Was it defective?

Lmao! Your right! Tough decision. No Steve, BMW requires a battery replacement every 12,500 to 15,000 miles. I was shocked to hear. Crazy!

F01/02 7series requires battery change at every oil change due to defective design, didn't know it applies to the X5M/X6M!

Really? Here's a great question...... Was anybody ever told that we needed batteries every time we needed 15,000 mile service that the battery needs to be replaced? I surely wasn't!

Joe, was this your first or second oil service (not including the 1200 mile break-in service)? My Service Advisor told me the battery replacement is at the SECOND scheduled maintenance.
