Wonder if they do one to match nutmeg leather? I agree, the seats are too firm. Fine when upping the pace on your favourite back road, not so great on long drives.

Nice color match.

I think the seats are comfy. Particularly when I drive my wife’s X1!

Compared to an F15 optioned with nappa but without ventilation they are pretty uncomfortable.

Compared to my previous GL550 these seats feel like boards from Home Depot.... but I still love this car.

In GL I set my position and never touched it in 3 years. This car after 3 months I am still adjusting, adjusting and adjusting

Hopefully that pillow will help

HAHAHA... I know what you mean. After spending three months in a GLS the only thing I miss are the seats. Everything else is pure rubbish.

If you want your life changed from a seat cushion get a "purple" seat cushion. It's heaven for your ass. Wife uses it for her super awful work chair and brings it home for our trips. Picked one up from sams club for $40 but can be found elsewhere. If also so happens I used them for my bed and pillow as well. Best night sleep in years.

The only problem it wont match the color... But I checked and purple has really good reviews. Might get one for my work chair too.

These cushions changed completely my daily driving. I am in love with this car now

I'm glad that works out for you & your wife. That's soo much cheaper than buying a Steelcase or Hermon Miller chair.

Plus since they're gel they don't absorb smells which can come from the butt. Haha

You don't feel unstable sitting on these?

Years ago for another car which had notoriously stiff seats (basicly no padding) I tried putting a pad and it made the car more comfortable for a short while. But I felt always unstable and so I think I was constantly adjusting my body which in the long term became uncomfortable in a different way.

Curious if these have that effect as well?

Nope, not at all. They have kind of rubberized underneath coating so they stay firm on the seat. No issues at least not yet.

Hey guys! I'm 6′5'' and I'm a little bit afraid that M seats in X5m will be not so comfortable for me :/ Before going 100km to the closest dealer that still has X5m available, I would like to get your two cents about it. I'm so annoyed there are no other seats available. I love the car but after choosing wrong seats in my X1 I won't make this mistake again - even though X5M is a car I always targeted :/ Thx for replies.

You're gonna get mixed reviews here. Some love them some despise them. The Canadians have the option for the M seats or the comfort seats seen on the F15. Honestly while it may be inconvenient before you drop $100k on a truck you may just need to make a weekend of it to know what you can deal with.
