I just ordered the new x7 and will not be needing the chip since we are selling the x5.
It is the top of the line one; Ultimate for $700. I have used it for about 9k miles and never had any issues. It improved the power as well as cruising MPG's.
It's plug and play and I am more than happy to ship it with my tested settings. You will love your diesel after installing it. Installation takes about 1.5 minute.

yes, I had it on the 35d. The manufacturer is Race Chip and it's made in Germany. The unit is plug and play and it's preset with a good setting.

does this void the warranty? I have a 2016 35d and am interested in this. Out of curiosity how much does it help with cruising MPG?
