Exclamation F15 2017+ Panoramic Sunroof Coding...

I can't imagine there was a hardware change but if there wasn't is there a way to code the sunroof to tilt up both portions like it did on pre-17 models?

I think the rear portion of the pan roof is fixed -- no actuator/functionality to code.

On 2017-2018 the cassette was replaced with a revised unit?
Can anyone on here see if there is a part number difference between the years?

Why did they do that? Too many failures or something? I think it's one of the coolest panoramic roofs with dual tilt.

I agree and it was a feature I utilized along with auto-dimming mirrors. They discontinued passenger side auto-dim and the dual tilt sunroof. Cost-cutting?

crappy... yeah both my mirrors dim *I think*

I guess similar to 14 to 15. soft closing doors got taken away in 15s and up, but they added 4 zone climate control. (I would have rathered doors, my kids have no idea how to use the climate control and can't reach it lol)

awesome; thanks. puts the coding idea to rest but at least we know there were hardware revisions to mitigate water damage.

soft close was added with the premium line (or whatever it's called that I have lol) in '14s

in '15s they got rid of that option from the premium line (making it an option of it's own I think) and replaced it with the 4 zone climate control.
