The front at max low looks mean!!! I love the look personally. Now does it ride any different at max low? Setup looks badass! Kudos for you for branching out.

Looks great, Mike. I’m glad you found an alternative to the KW’s (I only wish you had found them BEFORE I bought my KW’s....). I’m probably going against the tide here, but I like it 1/2” higher in the front better. Just seems a bit more level and more practical to me.

I know, I love the look slammed but also trying to be as practical as possible. From what I can tell, it rides exactly the same at both heights.

Yea its definitely practical. I'm going to let things settle over the course of the next week and tweak if I need to. I'm pretty anal so I'll end up spending way too much time dialing it in just right.

Updated OP with rating and short review after putting some miles on them.

Any more input after a few days?

Did they add any additional noise to the ride? I love how quick my F15 is and don't want to disrupt that.

Thanks again!

Noise from the road? Definitely not. I'm playing around with the shock settings right now to try and dial things in but I'm definitely liking the ride a lot more than the H&R and stock shocks! I'm leaning towards setting things a little firmer and riding on rails and giving up some comfort.

Good news is I was able to drive home and install the rears (updated OP).

Bad news is I screwed up one of the upper rear rubber spring pads so I ordered a new one and it will be here next week. I'll get the fronts installed Saturday afternoon.
How many years left in your maintenance plan? I purchased my car used and brought it in for service first of January. The warranty transferred over with no issues but there was a transfer fee for the maintenance. The warranty expires April 2021, I have to double check for the maintenance plan expiration date. They offered me $100 to continue the maintenance, so for me it was simple choose as the oil filter change was more then the maintenance fee. I'm not sure but I thought all maintenance transfer fees were all $100?

I have one year left or about 9500 miles for the maintenance. All that would be performed is an oil change and some filters. I would've done it for $100 but for $700, I said screw it. I like to do my own wrenching anyways.

It all depends on your year. My 2014 had no transfer fee at all. Just bought it in Connecticut and brought it to Virginia dealer the next week to fix the idrive controller and an oil change.

So why would an older car have a higher transfer fee then a newer car ? Perhaps your warranty expiration is greater then mine? I'll check my warranty expiration date 😝

It's based on what stance bmw takes any given year lol. Why would a 2014 have no fee but if I bought a year newer it would be one thing and 2 years newer another different value.

Yea kind of ridiculous. It's the policy BMW had for a given MY. Kind of like they were throwing shit against the wall to see if it stuck. I think 15-16 are tagged with a $700 transfer fee.

i think the new stance looks great are these 21's? how low is it from the fender to ground? i really like this look. but some people here may think it's below the ghetto line

btw, not sure if you saw the KW V3 sale. $350 off, but that's still double of what you paid for these.

Don't forget when you lower the car you need longer sway links.

Lol, yes they're the OEM X5M 21s and I don't think it's ghetto. I have a pretty professional job and I'm comfortable with it. I've actually raised the front 1/2" from this pic and I'm loving the stance. I'll get the measurement for you later.

I did see the KW sale. Don't get me wrong, if money is no issue, KW is probably the way to go but sheer bang for buck, $ for $, these are a no brainer.

Based on what information? The orientation of the sway will obviously change once you lower a car. Should it still be zero load on a straight road, yes, but the effective purpose on bends will be impacted.

Based on the comment of "need." It's not needed in my opinion.

Will the suspension geometry match the stock system? No. However for what I want to accomplish, the vehicle looks good and handles just fine. I'm not taking it to the track and trying to shave tenths of a second off of lap times. Of all the lowered F15/16s on this board, I'd be surprised if there is a single one that changed their end links.
