Guys you have a simple issue. Please sort it out by calling each other and figuring out what happened. I really dont think one of you is out to get the other over $80. Maybe its something else?

It's always good to see what your buying 😝. I see performance mats in the sellers pics, but I don't see all weather mats. Just saying ..

i believe the issue with the OP here is the fitment. he assumed these would fit the f15/f85. but looking at his pics, don't seem like they fit.

so your saying you had these exact all weather rubber mats in your f15/f85 and they fit better then these pics?

It's very simple. Did the OP advertise that these mats would fit an X5? If so, and they didn't fit, then the buyer is entitled to a refund.

I often buy things and not use them for a while, sometimes more than a month. That doesn't mean I shouldn't be entitled to a refund if I was sold something different than was advertised.

I don't understand "why" the back and forth as to if they fit the f15 or not.

It was asked on the 1st page as to what the BMW 11 digit part nbr is that is on each of the rubber mats...so what is the part nbr?

The part nbr will reveal as to what model BMW they are for. Both parties should have known or asked this info prior to the sale so that the seller would know who to sell to...and that the buyer should know what they are buying.

Why hasn't this been brought forth yet...it's just a simple 11 digit BMW part nbr that would solve the mystery as to what they should fit? Flip the darn mats over and take a pic and post the numbers.

i believe this is the sellers FS thread. in the thread, he never indicated that these All-weather floor mats were for x5. but the for sale thread was placed in this section:

BMW X5 and X6 Forum (F15/F16) > BMW X5 (F15) and BMW X6 (F16) Forum > Owners Classifieds (non-commercial)

with the title FS: Small Part-Out - X5M/X6M

so it's simple to assume that the parts being sold in the f15/f16 section is for either a x5 or x6. clearly they don't fit, then a refund is due.

In my opinion, had OP done what Violator did and just asked for pics, he would have seen that those mats weren't for an X5. Sure, they may kinda sorta fit an X5, but part # or pics would have and should have been traded in order to avoid all of this. I think OP's point was to warn us all about G333333 (or whatever), but really, its just a reminder to ask for pics/part #'s.

I don't know who is in the wrong. I can't decide. If it were me, I'd clean them up, figure out what they actually went to, and sell them for more than I paid. But that's just me...

OP - Myself - never advertised these to fit is 2014 X5. Thread was titled X5M/X6M.

It's not my fault that the buyer purchased floor mats coming off a different vehicle expecting them to fit his. Never told him theyd fit and it was definitely not specified in my thread that they would fit. Have a nice day guys

The floor plan of an X5M and a non M is the same, hence being able to include a X6M.

We all know the difference between an M class and a non-M. Yet the inside floor plan is the same.

I don't have a lot of time on my hands so it takes me a while to post requested pics. However, i have taken them and the mats that you sold me are for a F10 NOT AN X5 NOR AND X5M/X6M.

I have the pics of the back of these mats. I also have the screen shots of the back and forth i have with you on PayPal. They will be posted on this forum as well.

You posted an ad for mats without the pictures because you were running a scam. Because i am way too trusting and because i thought that no one here is stupid enough to try and defraud another member knowing this can be made public.

If he tries to sell more items on this forum, be aware of how he will treat you after the sale. It would be best to pick up locally. He will ship you stuff that is not fully advertised. Look at my situation with him.

So it was a perfect for seller's X5M but doesn't work for X5 since these mats are for F10. Hmmm... Seems like someone needs to return $80.

That's one lousy response!

You are so in the wrong with this, due to creating an expectation of items you were selling, all being X5 related.
You for sale post was titled:
"Small Part-Out - X5M/X6M"

So this is totally your fault!

Now you have wasted the buyers time delivering something he didn't expect to receive, nor wanted, and you owe him for it!
You need to man up, admit you are wrong, and refund the buyer!
