LOL now I remember who G3333 is. The same fella who put up his F86/F85 M perf grill on classified USED for 500$ about a month ago. When another member politely added that a brand new one went for 3xx$ he got so angry and said some nonsense how you dont even have an M and shouldnt be talking LOL. For someone who supposedly drives "high end cars" yet feels superior to others hes quite delusional on what things are worth and what is suppose to be put on the CORRECT forums. And you wonder where the typical bmw owner stereotype comes from.

https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1572273 apparantly someone deleted there owns posts

Summary:

The seller sold F10 floor mats in the F15/16 section to a F15/16 owner for $80 🤔

Buyer wants his $80 back because the F10 floor mats don't fit his F15/16.

Seller won't refund the $80 but knowing that his F10 floormats does not fit the buyers F15/16.

Sounds like a scam to me 🙃

As I suspected earlier, someone was really hard up for $80.

And now, he is trying to insult all of us by saying that x5m is completely different than regular x5, therefore the mats don't fit, lol.

Man this is the lamest excuse ever, X5M liners/mats are the same as F15 X5. You put misleading information and now pretending it's not your fault. It is actually. You didn't say "hey I have a set of floor which kinda fit my X5" you made it sound like these are OEM BMW floor mats for X5M,so buyer safely assumed that they will be direct fit for his car, and I'm pretty sure most of the people here would to the same. Your choice how to deal with this but destroying your reputation over $80 is extremely stupid in my opinion. PayPal will refund seller the money, but will it get your respect back?

For all of you who are STILL so concerned I'll find the original receipt for the X5 all weather floor mats. Never owned an F10

So the floor mats on the picture are not the floor mats you sold?

Ok so you admit that after all you would rather keep $80 and be known as a scammer?

There’s the expectation that Sellers will act in good faith, and the belief that they will make the buyer whole if dissatisfied with the transaction.

You, however, deliberately misrepresented the mats in this listing, purposefully took advantage of the buyer, and remain ignorant to the fact you did anything wrong.

Your words in this thread reveal your true character. You may think you’re clever; ultimately, what goes around, comes around.

So maybe instead of riding first class you could of spared and extra $80 and reimbursed the man since money is not an issue to you.

Cool

One more screen shot of our correspondence showing all four mats in question from the seller, along with the other items he had listed.

Wait for it, first it was buyer's fault since he complained a month later, second he moved to the X5M theory and buyer's fault not reading the thread header, third he never owned F10 mats and he has receipts (!!!) for F15 mats (wonder how F15 mats fit into his X5M ) so let me guess- his phone was stolen during his first-class Japan trip and someone took pictures and sold F10 floor mats, on his behalf.

Its pretty clear the seller is wrong.

Two things can happen here...
1. Seller refunds the mats and attempt to sell it on the F10 forums... It's not the buyers job to clean up the sellers error.

2. Seller refuses to refund the buyer and taints his reputations on a BMW forum community over a $80 dollar transaction...

I understand OP's frustration and I would have probably done the same. OP, if the seller doesn't cooperate, then fuck him... his rep will be tarnished and I would just attempt to sell it on the F10 forums.

What blows me away is the seller’s attitude. I’m assuming he’s still very young and is still just getting started on his career, but goodness gracious...

Same here.. if I was the seller then I'd try to make it right after I realized I sold him the wrong mats. Refund him and ask him to ship it back. The buyer offered to pay for shipping!

The highlighted text in the quote above is the crux of the issue. Based on the discourse in this thread...the seller NEVER was concerned if the mats were the "wrong" ones for the buyer.

This thread (as an example) should be next to caveat emptor in the dictionary.
