Console freezes...?
Hi all,
I have a '15 X5 and have encountered the weirdest situation: My console freezes. It's like there's frozen air conditioning working it's way through the entire console, front to back; from the ash tray, through the controls and to the split armrest console. When I put my hand inside the split armrest console, it's like I can feel a very cold breeze coming in from the front. Anyone ever experience this? If so, do ya know what it is? |

Are you saying that the center console is cold?
If so, more than likely your rear vents on the back of the console are closed. Start there. |

However, If I'm running the heat through my vents, how would the rear vents being closed cause freezing air to run through the console? I'm still going to trouble shoot the rear vents, but am curious. Thanks for the suggestion. |
