Hi, just wondering if these kits are still available? I’ve searched EBay but couldn’t find the same kit and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance

Call your local BMW dealership go OEM for best fit, or try again with your search on ebay.
I found the front lip right away. (Ebay, BMW F15 X5 Base MP Style Aero....)
Though, I don't know if they ship to Canada...

Hi, I'm new to this forum and got a 2017 X5 xdrive35i this past summer. I love it and I after reading this thread, I pulled the trigger on the kit and got it installed today! I love the way it looks. Regarding the exhaust, I didn't add the square tips that came with the kit. I'm trying to go for the quad tips!

I've been reading through this forum a lot but I couldn't quite find the answer to the question I have: if I want quad tips, do I need to do a muffler delete or some other mod along with it OR can I simply get the tips shown in the link below and have my shop install them?

https://www.amazon.com/Upower-Exhaus...%2C148&sr=1-17

Thanks!

Unless you find really short tips, do a muffler delete, or have the exhaust shop bend new pipes from the muffler, the tips will stick out from the bumper.
I'm working on my muffler delete, and have reshaped the heat shield, to be able to install the tips I want to use.

Tip: to reshape the heat shield:
First mark the areas that needs work, while still on vehicle.
Then take it off, lay it down on a piece of plywood, and mark where all the mounting holes go. (not upside down, edit)
Get a small sledge hammer out, start reshaping areas needed. (this will bend it totally out of shape)
Last comes the hard work of bending it back to match mounting holes.
Takes quite a bit of work to get it right.

@1norseman, thank you for that info. I hoped I didn't have to do other mods! I did read up on the muffler delete using the x-pipe and that could be cool to do.

eldogo Just to clarify, did you use the MAX 1K Base with the MAX 2K High Gloss Glamour or the 2K Single stage with additional High Gloss Glamour?

Thanks for sharing and great job! How's the paint holding up by the way?

Did they stop making this front bumper lip for the aero pkg (non M-sport)? I have searched everywhere online and I can't find this.

Anyone know of any vendor selling this? (preferably in N.A.)

These are the guys, the ikon motor sports:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/391952412038
You can send the message and ask, probably just affected with supply chain issues right now, same as many other businesses.

How about the rear?

Did you just create your own mounting points?

Yes, it comes with corse screws and washers. I just drilled into the plastic underneath. I still can't find one made specifically for the f15 non-m sport besides that oem one that everyone else has. This makes it stand out more and looks more aggressive. I may tinker with the rear and sides next

I kind of like having some chrome and some gloss black. I think it makes it stand out more. I had a pair of gloss black side vents but swapped out for chrome. I think if you have a lighter color x5 like mineral pearl, that's where black out works the best. Darker color x5's can use the contrast

I agree about having the chrome trim on darker cars, it looks better to me.
