6WB restart while driving

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I was driving back home last night and all of a sudden my 6WB Cluster shut off for like 3 seconds. When it came on, it looked as if I had just started the vehicle, it gave me warnings about the Active Cruise Control (ACC), then went back to how it was before it restarted. Everything working fine and no issues reported with any systems. I was using the ACC when this happened but I was not using any navigation or anything, just listening to the radio.

I will run my Foxwell on it this morning but wanted to ask if anyone has experienced this. I did a Google search and only found that other models have had/or are having the same issue and found a a TS as well but no mention of the F15. Also, it only mentions the 6WA, link provided below. Anyone have something on this?

Is the cluster retrofitted? You better run ISTA and check the errors.

Since your profile shows 2014, I assume you got 6WB retrofitted so check connections first,see if anything got loose. If physical connections look right-do what CatalinP said- get ISTA and check for any stored errors.

It was retrofitted over a year ago. It is the first time this has happened. I guess I better get ISTA and get savy on it then. Thanks

Is your vehicle I level matches the one of 6wb?

Yes. I just ran ISTA as recommended and I did have some memory errors and the KOMBI was one of them. I deleted all memory errors, disconnected and restarted ISTA and the F15, ran it again and all is green now.

My 6WB was retrofitted over a year ago and this is the first time I've had any issues with it. Everything is working normal with no issues after that restart though 🤷🏽

Did it ever happen to you again? Any update? Same boat as you. Had mine retrofitted over 2 years ago and this happened to me me twice lately.

No, I haven’t had any issues since I reset the errors with ISTA back from my last post. Been running fine. I did have to re-activate the KOMBI NAV on it a few days later though because that did shut off with that reboot.

But no, no issues 🤙🏽
