Will these rims fit, anyone know the style #?

Hi,

Sorry, not sure of the style # - maybe one of you pros can advise if these would fit my new to me '16 X5 M?

They are off a 2020 X5. The tire size is 275/45/20.

Thanks!

It's not about the size of the wheel, but the offset or clearance. The wheel has to clear the huge brakes and calipers, that is the issue, that I see. Sorry, can't provide you with the information you seek.

A 2020 X5 would be a G05 (X5) or an F95 (X5M)…these are the latest and newest generation X5. It’s not so much the tire…it’s the wheel itself that will not fit without serious augmentation.

Not only is the hub size different…but BMW also changed the wheel bolt pattern on the G05. F95 series. Your f15 X5/f85 X5M has a 74.1mm hub and a 5x120mm wheel bolt pattern. The new G05 X5/F95 X5M have a 66.6mm hub and a 5x112mm wheel bolt pattern.

For plug n play wheel swap…look at the e70 X5 & f15 X5/F85 wheels…they have the same wheel bolt pattern, hub bore, and wheel offsets.

The e53 X5 also won’t fit without using hubcentric wheel spacers that reduce the f15’s 74.1mm wheel hub to fit the smaller 72.56mm wheel center bore of the e53. The e53 X5 shares the same wheel offset and wheel bolt pattern but has a smaller wheel hub center bore.

Super helpful - thank you so much.
