Early "Bah Humbug!" - lucky me

Was just working on getting Xmas lights up and proceeded to pull the X5 out of the garage to give myself more room to setup/layout the lights.
That's when I noticed my early lump of coal... the front tow hook cover has been stolen.
Annoyed to put it mildly, but alas, I guess there are more important things to worry about.

Interesting part to steal.

A couple years ago mine went missing. I was in my F10 on the autobahn and a car in front of me kick up a huge pile of snow and slush. It hit my front bumper so hard it popped off the tow hook cover.

Googling for the part number also returned many posts about this part (and the rear flaps) being stolen quite a bit. Simple act to pull off for those that damaged or misplaced theirs during towing I guess.
The part itself is cheap ($25), but only comes primed, hence the rise in annoyance factor due to needing to get it painted body color.

You could always get it wrapped, since the part is rather small...

Would look out of place if I did that, especially as I have Carbon Black.
I ordered the part ($26 shipped) as well as aerosol CB touch up paint/clear this morning.

Man, I hate hearing these types thievery. You know its another BMW owner who lost his (yes its a guy cuz a girl wouldn't care) and didn't what to go through the hassle of paying for a new one and having it painted to match his car. Arghhh. Sorry to hear brother! Don't worry Karma is a B***H and it'll come to him 10 fold.

Thanks. Like I said originally, annoying, but just a blip in the grand scheme of things.
Per the pic I posted in the Random Pics thread yesterday, Xmas tree hunting festivities with the fam put it all behind me.
