yup. will be charing 125 for it. We're aiming for tonight. He already pulled the code (so it worked). Just will install on my computer now
I finally decided to go BM3 instead...can't justify 20hp for 1k. At the price you got it it was definitely a no brainer but the least expensive I could find was 925 plus 150 for install.

good choice! I'm sure you will be happy! when I get my MPPK, we'll compare.

I would have gone your route for sure if I didn't get that deal. plus it seems so easy to install on the car. I'd say there is at least a 30-35hp diff between the two.

BM3 will make the 50i in sports mode very similar to driving a stock X5M not in sports mode. Except the exhaust ofcourse. Very smooth and uniform.

RC was just giving a boost. It was not always uniform.

Where are you going to do it? I want to dyno mine again so maybe we can meet up and do it back to back.

I would take your computer with you and make sure you get a stock run and a tuned run to measure the true gain.

We have a Dyno group setup in Mass but there's no more spots open. I have the Wi-Fi agent and can do the flash pretty easy, so might do it but I don't want to old up the group.

Go last, it would be nice to see stock vs tuned

A dyno pull without a baseline is virtually useless. Every dyno reads differently, so without a baseline you have no idea what the real gains are. Just about everybody makes this mistake. I agree with CT335xi: go last and get a stock and tuned run in. Flashing with BM3 is so fast, you really won't be holding anyone up.

It’s probably right cause I believe that’s reading crank Hp so with your tune and mods your easily making another 100 hp.

After I flashed to BM3 stage 2, I noticed a hesitation from the car. I thought it was the spark plugs, so I swapped out the factory for 1-step colder spark plugs. NGK SILZKBR8D8S (97506)

Car ran much better with the new plugs but the hesitation was still there. Someone suggested the xhp transmission tune to raise the Torque Limits and shift faster. Now I have no hesitation and the car feels faster and smother.

X5 xDrive35i (F15) SAV Stage 2
- Gear Display in all Modes
- Torque Limiters removed
- Reworked Shiftmaps
- Altered Shift-Strategy. Choose from 3 different Shift-Speeds with the DEC Switch. Also fully compatible to cars without DEC
- True Manual in M/Sport and M/Sport+. (no automatic upshift at RPM limiter)
- DSC OFF and DTC now use Sport+ shift program
- Adjusted line pressures above 400 ftlb for tuned cars

Funny u say that because although i feel more power i def noticed a longer lag in response from pedal to accelleration, was waiting for the racechip xlr to go on sale on black friday, i wonder if this tranny flash will help

How much was the xhp stage 2 transmission tune? Are you able to pass emissions with the ER catted downpipe?

Here is a link to the website -> https://www.xhpflashtool.com/

I'm located in Toronto Canada and don't require emission testing.
