Does anybody know what these two clips are for? I found them behind the front passenger door.

Could be driver side loom installed on the passenger side. By mistake, or ran out of supplies.

Check if you have the 360° view cameras or not. might be for that side camera, if you don't...

I do have the 360 cameras so they are hooked up!

Do you have soft close doors. Maybe is the wiring for the modules and motor?

Ya I have soft close doors too! I think it must be the drivers side loom they also use in the passenger side. Extra wore for side mirrors and all the windows and the trunk and fold in side mirrors.

It could literally be for RHD vehicles so they can use the harness for all markets...otherwise it's for options you don't have which is always nice because you can sometimes upgrade later. My E46M3 had the garage door opener plug tucked up in the headliner so it was an easy add-on.

Those days are long gone, iirc after e46 BMW stopped using 'universal' harnesses, and with few exceptions here and there any retrofit requires additional wiring.
