Roof rack

I am looking for suggestions on which roof rack looks best on a space gray 18’ x5 m package. I don’t have a clue where to look so any suggestions with pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Only on a BMW forum would Poeple care what the roof rack looks like....

The question you should be asking, is what you need to carry and what size... most boxes are black... so they all look largely the same.

I have a Thule hyper. XL and it is one of the best that you can buy.

Assume you already have the flush rails, for crossbars, either the Thule Aeroblade or the Yakima Whispbar. I have a black Thule Aeroblade. Looks pretty good on the car. If you need anything else, remove them when you don't use it. I don't get people who leave a bunch of rack accessories other than the crossbars all year round. You lose 2-3 MPG with one of those snowboard racks, for example, mounted even when you're not using it, plus the additional noise isn't great.

I have the OEM crossbars with Yakima kayak racks. The OEM bars are nicely made, fit perfect (no side overhang as you will get with 3rd party) and are reasonably priced.

I went OEM (~$220) too. Compared to older e70 they're easier to install due to built-in torque 'handles', which is helpful as I don't want to keep them on permanently to avoid potential fading like the e70 ones had.
