preventative maintenance for 2017 50i 75k miles?

Owned my 2017 X5 50i for about a year now and would like to know if anyone has a list of what I should replace before it breaks. Things such as timing tensioners, belts, hoses, that that are known to fail? Fluids that should be flushed?

Transmission also. ZF says about 60k miles is a good interval. I normally do power steering as well. You can get about a liter of fluid out of the reservoir if you have a small hose to go down in past the upper plate. Coolant should be changed every 5 years or so. BMW says brake fluid change every two years. Basically if you can change every fluid in the car that would be great.
As far as hard parts, plugs and coils are common, ccv hoses get pretty brittle by 75k or so and the turbo inlet hoses get brittle and their gaskets get really hard, those are pretty inexpensive (~100) for the pair from the dealer. Clean MAF sensors at this time. Thrust arm bushings are common as well. There are a ton of hoses so just keep an eye on them. I haven't seen a specific issue with one in particular. The turbo coolant hoses will probably be leaking by 80-100k.
As far as timing stuff goes, how is your comfort level with mechanical stuff? The normal chains and tensioner stuff is pretty involved with this engine, but an easy one to do is the oil pump drive chain tension. The F85 forum here has a little writeup on it.

I'm not sure this would qualify as preventative maintenance, but you should check this thread here: https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1847537 which describes an important oil pump chain adjustment that should be done for higher mileage 50i.

Good info, thanks! I just picked up a 2015 X6M with 80k miles. I’d like to make sure it’s up to date on maintenance.

Just the fluids. Transfer case, front and rear differential, transmission and oil, brake fluid
