I remember one time i have left my car at the dealer for service fully coded (bumper to bumper "literally"). I had a custom ambient lights, Rolls-Royce warning sounds, M emblem start up animation..etc. There are just the " very obvious ones", not to mention the custom "unauthorized" third party exhaust and the moded ECU.

When i picked up the car, the service guy told me that they have done a firmware update ( with a smile in his face).... Most of the stuff that i coded were back to default and I had to code them again.

That is what I was missing. I seem to recall cheat codes appearing automatically on a previous version.
Not sure how I missed something so obvious....

I have never seen that error before.

If you Read ECU again, does HKFM2 have a blue cafd with green check mark?

You can "Read Coding Data" without issue or error message?

I’ll have to confirm the green check mark and blue CAFD again but it reads the coding data just fine and goes to edit mode with no fault codes at all.
I ticked the cheat code box and it saves properly but the error only appears when hitting ‘Code FDL’.

Hi Everyone,

Need a little help. I'm trying to code my trailer hitch to my F15. The problem is when I try adding 235 to my SALAP-Element for my FA. I get an error when I calculate my FA. I'm sorry i did not get a screen shot of the error. But it sound like you should have none regardless. Anyway what I'm i doing wrong. Do I need the full PSdZDATA to do this?

No you should not need the full for this. somebody like Almaretto or shawnsheridan might be able to help with the other part...

Does anybody know if there is a way to code the distance ACC to permanently show the cars instead of just the bars? I mean the apace isn't used otherwise...

Change that to: Id6_light

Full is not needed. Assuming error is 'No FP could be generated from FA, Not all elements...' then you have an invalid entry. If not error, then please post it.

No. Only vehicles with ID5 can toggle ID6 (eg, 2017 F15).

Is it maybe possible to code the KM/H to be visible at all times similar to how the mileage will automatically come on when KM/H is selected as the main Value?

=> Read FA
=> Save FA
=> Editors and viewers
=> FA-editor
=> Go to HO-Wort and right click on "Edit," then type SBRE under the HO-Wort file
=> Select the FA, "Calculate FA" to verify that no errors are found after adding the SBRE.
=> Write (write) FA to your car. No confirmation window will appear after saving the FA to the car
=> Expert Mode
=> Coding
=> Read (read) the FA. You are able to see SBRE be added to the HO-Wort folder on your car.
=> Read SVT, and locate the "DSC" (File Folder SVT / ECU / DSC), then right-click the "DSC" folder and select "Code". Consolidation should start immediately.

Hi - we just got a 2018 X5, and I’m new to coding. I’ve use BimmerCode iPhone app to code most of the “essential” things, but just cannot figure out if there is way to have the fog lights turn on whenever the headlights are on.

Any expert advice?
