Do shock settings matter with KWs?

I have KW3 coilovers installed but I am a bit confused. The KW kit comes with new rear shocks and the adjustable links, but since the rear air bags are still used, does it even matter if I choose "SPORT" or "SPORT +" suspension settings or are those adjustments to the airbags no longer working?

KWs negate the air suspension. So those settings don't matter. You'll have to adjust manually now.

No longer works since those were used to adjust settings on your factory struts.

Thats what I figured, so the only rear adjustment I can make is to the ride height and that is done by lengthening or shortening the leveling links?

No, you can adjust dampening and rebound in the rear (front too). I am not sure how to adjust it but I am sure some other folks on the forum do.

Nope. It's adjusted through a dial. The kit comes with a tool to help. When my shop did adjustments they didn't need to touch the links.

Once put on, it's a PITA to adjust the KW's, but for original question, that button inside the car to adjust damper settings now does nothing.

True. Helps a lot to have the car on a lift if possible.
