Quick question shawnsheridan: are the links to the latest software the same as in the original message that you sent to us originally to retrieve the software?
I'm on page 136 of this thread and I noticed so many people asking for the new software link so if it is then maybe the request can be reduced so that it is not so much work for you. |

Thanks, I'll take a look at the cheat code. It is not on the F15 excel sheet though - I've looked that one over pretty closely.

I am waiting for the software download, etc for my 2017 x5. However, is there a new cheat sheet for codes? I am seeing some replies on this thread that ConnectedDrive isn't working after coding some items based on the original cheatsheet.

As far as the rear view camera, it only turns on automatically when I'm in reverse. I use my rear view cam to line up the back end of my car when moving forward, so when I hit the parking sensor button while moving forward, I have to manually activate the rear view camera every time. |

If I am in drive and I hit the parking sensor button to activate the sensors, the rear view camera does not automatically turn on. On the iDrive touchscreen, I have to push the rear view camera button to turn on the cam (again, only when not in reverse).

I have the first button, which is the physical button next to the shifter. The camera button is on the touchscreen. I have a 2017 with iDrive 5.0 so I'm not sure if there were changes from prior years.
To sum it up again, my goal is to have the rear view cam come up on the screen with just pushing the parking sensor button while NOT in reverse (the first image/button of the three you posted). |

Normally, going into reverse turns on rearview camera (some software saves preference). The PDC button defaults preference/last setting (rear or top view). So yours instead just turns on PDC sensors and then you have to toggle camera? Another physical camera button (if equipped) toggles panorama side view. I am not sure of any coding that can switch behavior. |

Hello All,
Not sure if this was answered before or not. Is there away to reinitialize the KAFAS or do I have to bring it service? My windshield cracked and I might have to take it the car to the dealer once my window is replaced. Also, can i reset my service reminders with Tool32 or i have to take it to the dealer. They forgot to reset it last time and I'm too lazy to go back to them. Thank you and sorry if these questions were answered before. |

Also, do you have a 40e? Does yours remember the last eDrive setting? If I leave my car in Max eDrive and restart my car, I always have to toggle the eDrive button again to get back to Max eDrive. |

For service intervals, you can also use hidden dash menu.
