Was wondering when BMW would release the "the last special edition of a car that is already special but this time more special before we release the next special car which we totally won't call the ultra mega neon black water edition"

Maybe they should fix the front rotor/hub assembly and get rid of the dreaded clicking noise! Unbelievable. Maybe on my second buyback they off me this click clack box!

Sounds like you have some cross drilled or slotted rotors, ever consider just getting blanks?

My 135 sounds like a semi stopping, but god does it stop like a beast. Your car weighs almost a ton more than mine, and at least half a ton more than a GTR, with performance breaks of course it is going to sound like a machine, that's just physics. You could 1. get blanks and enjoy the longer stopping distance, or 2. stop caring what people think about the sound of your car, 3. buy a shitty car with blanks already on them and tell people how much fun driving your old X5M was

I'm not sure if this will help you, but I have an F30 that did the same thing. It seems I was washing the car so much that I washed away whatever grease was on the caliper, or so they say. I changed wheel cleaners, changed brakes, and the issue went away.

This is a performance vehicle. The higher performance brakes in combination with city driving results in excessive brakes dust--hence the squeak. Normal operation. This is consistent with EVERY high performance vehicle; Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes AMG. Google it.

Maybe a Lexus is more suitable for you.

BUT

I fixed it by driving 60mph then slam it to full stop, do that 2 to 3 times and the sound will go away.

You might have to do that every few months.
I did that on the way home from the dealer and haven't had a single squeal from the brakes ever.

I like the seats but it looks like no ventilated seat option; otherwise seems gimmicky; an M doesn't need these types of gimmicks. Just my 2 cents

I feel like BMW is just too lazy to develop a solution for this.
When you say it sounds as loud as a bus does it literally sound as loud as a bus or are you just exaggerating to make a point that at this price point it's unacceptable? Because in my car it literally sounds louder than a bus or a dump truck #becauseracecar

The Huracan doesn't weigh the 10,000lbs or whatever the X5M weighs and needs to stop (at a decent performance rate)

Have you tried bedding in your pads? If you transfer a layer onto the rotor it should stop squealing but over time without putting any heat into your brakes, the pad could slowly chip away at that layer, thus leading to squeals again. I hear GT3s squeal all the time on cold brakes.
