I was used to a 2003 X5 - this new one is a steering dream. However, it is hard for me to judge since I have not test drove one without it. I keep hearing it is not worth it due to the new electric steering tech.

The sound is crisp and clean. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Hi Chrisny, pure wood is beautiful on this xLine. Since the interior colors are sleek and modern, that rugged wood look is a nice contrast. The feel is superb. The only thing is that I think it needs extra care. It looks like a scratch can show up easily. I was not expecting that Nappa Dashboard to be all in black with black stitching, otherwise, I probably would not have invested on it. I still like the gray with white stitching. However, for those that notice the leather dashboard, it is a nice touch.

Congrats! This would have been EXACTLY my selected combo had I not owned the 328ix which is exactly the same combination...and as I didn't want to end up with two same cars, I had to go for something else...
but looks majestic...it is also the standard color combo being advertised on TV...isn't it?

Hey Shaw, yup. It is the color of choice for their ads. Enclosing a neat one just in time for the holiday season.
