2016 X5 with 21K miles. Still enjoying my car with no plans to part with. Will need tires soon. The run flats are noisy but good wear.
Non runflats soon. |

Many years- possibly update to a 2017, or a 5.0 if the price is right and the mileage is not too big of a factor, but I really like the package on the 2014 I have now- M-Sport & a few extras. I would not have purchased them with the car, but I bought used and they were on there. I've since driven a few other X5s without the extras, and I guess i'm spoiled.
But in general- I'd like to get a good 10-12 years out of the car, or more if maintenance & repair does not approach diminishing returns. The other good thing is that the dealers still want the older models (or so they say now, we'll see when it's time...), so trade ins / trade ups should be slightly easier. |

What RFT do you have as my P Zeros could only last 15k miles?

Just got my 2016 X5 35i at 48k miles, planning to keep as long as it's running!
Previous owner drove above 20k per year, but mainly highway miles. Probably a silly question, but what's the major difference/impact on a car if mileage is mainly city vs. highway driving? I can understand the brakes going out sooner, but is there anything else? |

I also can't afford the new one right now in life, so that may have something to do with it lol

My Dunlops were noisy too, but i did get a legit 26k out of them. I switched to the Bridgestone RFT's. They are quieter for sure, but will only get about 20k out of them.
