Just had winter tires installed before the first flurry. Downsized to 255/55/r18. Pirelli Ice Zero. Replika R200 wheel. Just found out the tire pressure is 36 front, 44 rear. So I have t o adjust the pressure every time I rotate the tires.

469m's back on for the winter. Can't wait to burn off these Pirelli Scorpion winter run flats to buy something else next year. I run Continental extreme contact winters on my e46. If they are available, and fit the 20s I will be buying a set next season. Wish I could have gotten Continentals for the 22s but they were not available.

Finally got a winter setup on the X5 and couldn't be happier. Went with Blizzak NonRFT in 255/50-19 on a set of 19x8.5 VMR V705 wheels. Snagged the wheels through a buddy who gave me a killer deal on black friday. They look great on the car but just can't believe how small the 19's look vs the 469M the car came with.

I bought a set of used 19" rims and run Blizzaks in the standard size. They are just incredible in the snow. I'm very impressed. The tires feel like I'm driving a waterbed when compared with the 20" tires but I only use them for ski trips. They would be annoying to have on the car all the time.

19" M467. Nokian Hakkas R2 SUV run-flats (I do not like changing tires in the winter/snow). Straight setup.

I bought my F15 in November. I immediately picked up a set of 467Ms w/ GoodYear Eagle LS from a local seller (the Eagles came with the wheels).
I will throw the 469Ms back on in the Spring.

I use to run A/S DWS.
Just put these bad boys on. OZ Wheels with 275/40R19 Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow. I thought about getting 19's but after having the 469s on this whole time I just didnt want to go with the smaller size visually.

GoodYear UltraGrip 255/50R19 RF Winter Tires, on all 4 wheels.
Much much better grip than the All Seasons I had in the first snow storm, I recommend them both for grip and how they ride. This since the UltraGrips feels to me, slightly softer in the sidewall, than the Pirelli? RF's I believe came with the vehicle. Which is a plus when riding on H&R springs, on winter roads.. |
