I thought so too... It was like an h&r video more than a vehicle review.

Old Thread... Sorta. Saw my first G05 yesterday on my way to work. It looks better in person than it does in the videos and photos. But I still like our F15 better.

It was driving down the road. No dealership stickers on it or anything. I could have sworn I saw it again yesterday in the same general area.

They're landing in other parts of the world already:

I guess a glimpse of what the X6 will look like would be this +1:

Im 99% sure I saw what I saw, because I saw it twice. It was too big to be an X3.

I did not say you didn't. I was just posting a photo of the new X4 as an idea of what the new X6 will look like.

The grill looks huge in person. It is going to take me a moment to get used to it.

New rear end looks better than old rear end but old front end looks better than new front end

I'm still not a fan of the new X5. The updated tech is nice, but the appearance of the G05 can't touch the F15, imo.

I saw another one in real life at supermarket parking lot and from far away it looked just like f15. I only noticed difference when I was closer. It was a darker color, so maybe that makes seeing different bumper lines harder, as overall shape is very similar. From side view they are like 99% similar lol. Rear end is the only thing that stands out different from F15. But I'm too not convinced that g05 rear is better. I need to see g05 m sport in white color in person to make a proper comparison.

The rear on the F15 is wayyyyy better looking. The sides, as you mentioned, are almost identical, so that's a wash. I also like the front of the F15 better. Imo, it just flows better. Overall, there's nothing I like more about the G05 than the F15. Maybe the instrument cluster?

I guess my next suv will be Cayenne or G550, but I plan on keeping the X5 for a couple more years.

Saw a glance of one today. Wasn't jaw dropping. Maybe it'll grow on me like the f15/16

I think when people see it in person - there's no photoshop effects and it suddenly becomes just a new x5. Moreover, they look very bland due to lack of mods: still chrome grills, plain stock rims, no m performance pack etc. I think for proper comparison we need to see 2 generation cars, m sport ones, preferably same color with some exterior mods done to make better judgement. Non m sport stock g05 in real life is nothing to write home about compared to modded by default m sport f15 that many here on forum have.
