These FUCKING brakes SUCK ass
How can you love your car and hate your car in the same breath...
I hate my fucking X6M brakes. I did not pay all this money to hear this god awful sound. I'm sorry for the language but this turds days are numbered... I've never hear AMG squeak nor my X6 which I should have kept... If they can't fix this bullshit, I'm not going away... Again sorry I'm very frustrated and don't want to drive this piece of junk... PS I wanted a M for 6 years...watch what you wish for. |

Serious question. If the breaks squeal and you take it in 3 different times. Wouldn't that qualify as a lemon? No where in the advertisement or any papers that were signed does it say will squeal like a fat pig ( which it is ) under normal driving conditions.

I spent two days with 4 M4s on the track in Nurburg last week - all four had significant break noise almost all of the time.

11 months after i picked up my x6m the brakes started to squeal
i took it to one dealer first and they did something to all four brake pads but that didn't fix the issue so i called BMWFS and filed a complaint than i took it back to the dealer i purchased it from and they noticed i called BMWFS and changed all four rotors as goodwill  |

If she were quiet it's my daily...I'm ocd car noises make me nuts and this is the very first car I've ever had that ever squeaked...I'm 45 and have had 6 bimmers and well as a shit load of others... She took good notes and expressed that the complaint would be noted on my record and discussed at there weekly meeting but nothing would come of it. But the dealership is on the case with knowledge of my issue and said they will fully resolve the issue...I'm kind of a sticker with them, so I'm get good treatment... Plus I but all my parts from them, Dinan upgrades, m performance parts. Do the same my friend... |

More power to you if you can get a 'free' set of discs and pads out of BMW.
That won't stop the squealing, though. BTW, can you really see 'wavy' discs? That would be something else, given that true 'warping' is highly unusual (as opposed to much more common, uneven pad deposition)... |
