They haven't. My mom's new 4 series has the same cluster. The analog backlighting does not illuminate during the day.

Nope, still dim. In the beginning I didn't quite understand why people decided they want to drive around with their low beams on in daylight, but after noticing this I understood.

Problem solved??? If you drive with the headlights always on, it leaves the dash illuminated. Will the headlights go off after some time, not draining the battery? I found a video on line that says if you leave the headlights in the on position (furthest around to the right on the dial) the auto leveling and cornering lights don't work.
Any experts out there know? |

^ correct, the "on" position just turns on the headlights but will not move when u turn the steering wheel, it needs to be at the "auto" position for the leveling and turning feature to work
