I got Carbon Black with Black Dakota. Love it!!!! I came from a 2011 Black Sapphire and like the Carbon Black much more.

I have the Mineral White with Mocha Dakota leather and 20's. It looks AWESOME! My 2011 X5 was in Carbon Black and I love it, but wanted to go with a different color. Mineral white will not disappoint!

+1. Love our mineral white / terra. You really can't go wrong with MW, CB, and BSM (black sapphire) and the space gray too for that matter.

Thanks guys.. Blackwatch, can you please post a pic of mocha Dakota? I love the texture of Dakota.. It will really help.. I owned a black before but never white.. so may be its time to try a new color..

Made some modification. Here's my final build. I have a order no.. Is there any way to track with the order number or do I have to wait for prod no? I was told I will get a production number within 4-6 weeks.

Test drove x35i last night. The handling was better than my 05 5 series. I didn't feel I was driving a truck. Made plenty of sharp turns and bends. The sales guy sitting next to me kept laughing and saying "I have never seen anyone driving like this"

I could tell he was having fun too. The model I drove was an exact combination I ordered except it was a luxury line. Few observations..

Ivory white with black dash looks great but not sure how its going to look after few years. I am planning to keep this for 6-7 years..
I'm not sure how much better the handling can get with dynamic handling package. I barely felt any body roll with the base model.
The multi contour seat is awesome. It just locks you in one place. Going to change the order to add it. From what I understand, I'll lose the sport seats if I add mc seats without getting the nappa package. If that's the case, not sure how mocha will look with black saphire. Also I have not seen the mocha interior in person.
The standard lights looked great and white. Again, haven't seen the lighting package but can't imagine how much better can it look.
