Paint vs. Powder Coat Wheels

Hello. I have the OEM 469M wheels and I'm missing the black look from my 22's. I'm thinking about getting the 20's either painted or powder coated black. I'm leaning towards powder coated as I understand it to be more durable...any powder coat their 469M wheels or other OEM M series wheels?

Yes powder coat holds up better but given all wheels are either painted or raw you can't go wrong just painting. Plus it'll be easier and cheaper as you don't have to remove tires etc.

Powdercoat looks a lot better and is more durable.

If done correctly, paint is long-lasting also. I chose this method for my truck's dually wheels because it is easier to do and touch up if needed.
