Looks pretty good, and fits pretty well. Not as much coverage of the Tuxmat, but I could not order those. However these 3D MAXpider floor mats have much better coverage than the carpet mats that come from the factory. My heel rests much better when it is on the accelerator pedal when compared to the carpet. Obviously, there is a raised lip around all the edges that will prevent dirt and water from getting outside the boundaries of the carpet mats. Will let you know once I have some miles on these. I could imagine they might slide around just a bit, but will see. So far I am happy with the look, fit, and feel.

The 3D emblem bugged me so I clipped them off.

Is there any cargo liner option that does not cover the rails? It is annoying that you have to sacrifice convenience over protection or vice-versa.

Top of page 2.

But If I remember well , I've cutted a few centimeters on each side (it doesn't appear on the pic).

I see it now. I do not want to cut or modify. I was looking for an OEM solution since I have the luggage rack similar to what I had in my RRSC.

Without cutting the sides of the BMW carpet , you won't have access to the rails.

I am confused. I am using that system now without issue or without cutting any carpet. I am looking for a liner that would protect the center portion of the cargo floor without covering up the rails so I am still able to slide the rack fore and aft.

Just got an automated notification from Tuxmat today they have the floor mats back in stock. I think they advertise that they fit X5 and X5 M.

It was an automated reply, based on filling out a module on their website, but no one has actually replied to my email.

Seeing the pictures of Tuxmat above in this thread, I would have liked to give them a try, but I have never received an email back regarding shipping.

Can-am is saying he has this mat, and he cut it to modify it so he could still use the tie downs.

Exactly.

It doesn't look clean but works well.

I'll try to post a picture tomorrow.

Got it; I have two or three of these in the garage but I am looking for a solution that does not involve modifying the liner.
I am not sure why this isn't a feature or option but one would think it should be available to utilize the cargo anchor points or the rack.

I know that it doesn't look clean , but this is the only way I've found in order to be able to use the side rails.

I am jealous that you have the shopping bag hooks on both sides.

Maybe a difference between 2015 and later, somewhere around 2016/2017/2018.

MY2015 had hooks on both sides, MY2016 has only on one side.

The 2016 I had was equipped with one on the left. 2017 now has one on the right. Some vehicles have both. It is very odd.

Just got a new BMW rear cargo mat. Looks like it was redesigned for 2017 or 2018 year models. It is different than the one Can-am has that was built for the X5. This one I have fits my 2018 X5 M very well.
