My receipt is in German but I think the corresponding part number is 51472347734. It translates to luggage compartment mat. I told BMW that some people advised the mat fit an X5 M, and others advised it did not fit the X5 M. Even a week ago a BMW employee at the same dealership told me the rear cargo mat did not fit the X5 M. I persisted this time, and they asked for my VIN number, and they told me it would fit. No one told me it was a new design, but I could tell as soon as I picked my X5 M up from the dealership after the break in inspection. It fits pretty well, and I was able to access the tie-downs. The hydraulic assisted compartment lid on the cargo floor can lift and hold itself up even with this rear cargo mat on top of that spare tire compartment. I am glad I bought it. It provides good protection, but it does seem to scuff easily. So far that is the only criticism. Not sure if the plastic is that soft, or the textured surface just seems to scuff or collect particles of other items when things slide around.

all the previous mats were the same way. the material allows for the slightest items to scratch the mat.

Has anyone tried the 3d style or quilted floor mats?? I really like what Autopreme had going on, but they are out of business it seems.

Floormats - TuxMat

So since purchasing my f15 X5 50i in spring, I have been looking for winter mats, and visited this thread far too often. I really would like to pull the trigger on the TuxMat, but noticed a potential deal breaker with the rear seat. On my car, I have footwell lights which are just below the rear seats facing forward. I now assume these must not be on all f15, since I discovered that the TuxMats will cover them, which I do not want to do, since I have small children, and the lights look nice So I was wondering if anyone else also ran into this, and if so, how easy it would be to just cut notches for the lights. If so, please post pictures My second choice is the MaXpiders.

These Pics are great - love the look. Do you have the rear too, if so, can you please post pics?

How was the L405? I came from a supercharged L322 to the F15, kinda wanting to go back.

Go back to L322 or go back to LR/RR?

I have the same all-weather mats that are in post #44, and I love them to include their trunk mat.
