Charge pipe?

What charge pipes are available for a F15 Xdrive35i? Looking at the different websites have got me confused as to which one fits. What are you guys using?

All you have to do just call my name once, lol.

It is on my website under F15 BMW X5.
I can't post link to my own website due to forum's policy.

I used one by FTP. Came with O ring and a new C clip for about $250. Ordered from Bavauto. But I believe they are no longer in business and directing their sales to ECS Tuning.
But, anything Ben sales at RG is top notch as well.

Thanks for the response, is the lower section required? Because if I'm looking at that right, the ER pipe is almost $500 for the upper and lower section?

I saw that one on ECS Tuning's website, but when I looked at FTP's website, I couldn't find that part anywhere on there. How is fitment? I'm leaning towards this one simply because it's almost half the price of the ER.

The stock charge pipes are notorious for breaking on the N54's. I blew my stock charge pipe on the first pull after I had flashed MHD's stage one map on my old 335i. Interestingly, I haven't found much information on the pipes blowing up on the X5's. So is it a common issue on N55's like it is on the N54's?

Their lower chargepipe still need revision. It doesn't fit on the E7x and F15/F16 X5/X6 N55 motor yet.

Technically you don't really need it, unless you are pushing very high boost.

Fitment on the FTP was perfect. Install only took about 15 minutes. No issues at all. The part # is SG71342 for a 2014 X5 35i. I only replaced the top. I did this the week after my wife blew hers in our X3 with the N55 engine with the factory plastic charge pipe.

Good info! Do you recall around what mileage she blew hers?

I installed VRSF last night and the fitment was good. Took about 30 mins to install and the most difficult task was putting back the fuel tank breather valve.

Thanks to Ben @ RG for his detailed instruction.

I went with the ER pipe from Ben. Very quality material and sounds great once installed. Haven't had any issues and it's been on for about 1500 miles now.

I was excited about the price on this one by FTP you mentioned and found it at ECS here But when selecting my vehicle 2014 xdrive35i it says it does not fit. You are saying that it actually does?
