Don't mean to highjack, just found the topic of doing from id5 to 6 and am wondering if there is any functional difference between the two.

Particularly i am interested in music playback from USB with shuffle on. Currently on id5(touchscreen) there is no next/back button on screen if you play from a usb with shuffle on.

Was hopping this would have gotten added.

Recently I purchased a 2018 Mini Countryman, and I want to activate the Apple CarPlay Full-screen option, but I can't because the car has come with the version NBTevo_L and I need the version T or higher.

I cant find on the web a DIY for Mini Cooper like yours. Only guys that sell the upgrade service or Full-Screen Service

I have Installed the Full version with the Esys 3.27 on my laptop and I download the v.4.31.31_PSdZData full.
I have an Enet cable and a battery charger too

My questions to you are:

1) Is it the same procedure as you did to your car, with a Mini?

2) If I follow your procedure the graphic interface change from MINI to BMW or remain the Mini interface?

3) You worked on F85 car, and you choose the F025 on the connection menu, My car is an F56, must I choose F056 or work with another type?

Choose F56 Without DIRECT, Follow the same exact steps you are good to go. No your unit still will be under mini logo. If any case you can code back to mini or default coding will revert back to mini. Lmk!

Hi All,

im having a strange issue not sure if im missing anything - NOVICE Alert

I have manage to activate FA under tal calculating and read ECU as i have an X5 F15 but i have no options to set my kis/svt target i-step as its greyed out

My current version is nbtevo_M i have tried enabling apple_enhancements but im guessing it wont work until im on a later version.

i cant seem to create the TAL file to explore it as i cant get past setting the i-step selection therefore cant save the SVT_Tal

Injecting CAFD (Detect CAF for SWE) and Flashing ECU's with >= v.4.17.20 PSdZData requires using newer E-Sys 3.30.0 or higher.

After finding out that my Psdzdata was corrupted, I downloaded the latest, deleted the old folder, and unzipped all again with Winrar.

Check dependencies, HU didn't have any.

Followed the guide, all went well till the end, when I got an error that TAL Execution failed.

Now my HU is stuck on 'Flashing 0%' blue screen, I get a 'Drivetrain Error' and my gearbox doesn't work anymore ....

What can I do guys?

For Mini, TAL Calculation won't go above NBTevo_U19384I. To get anything higher you must manually set BTLD and SWFL entries in TAL.

Correct. SWFL and IBAD has to be replaced with 007_030_001.

I think you mean BTLD as I wrote, not IBAD, which is the Owners Manual (Interaktive Betriebsanleitung Daten).

007.030.001 = NBTevo_X20511I
007.037.001 = NBTevo_Y21272I

You have to modify TAL in E-Sys TAL Editor.

Thank you for the correction. Does the 4.31.12 contains 007.037.001? I recently got the full daten and still calculates 007.030.001 on my F85.

4.31.12 was only F020-21-03-545.

You need at least v.4.32.12 to get F020-21-11-510.

And Latest v.4.33.11 is F020-21-11-535.
