Wimpy snow tires...
Comparing brand new summer tires with brand new winter tires.
First, I noticed that the OEM 21" Michelin PSSs are even nastier/wider than I realized. Fatties! For the heck of it, I compared them with the OEM 21" Pirelli Scorpions. The Scorpions seem to be at least .75" narrower and a tiny bit taller. Pretty wimpy but I'm sure it can only help in the snow. The Michelins are NRF so they're noticeably lighter than the Scorpions which are RF. Last edited by Blue By You; 11-24-2021 at 10:40 AM.. |

Never ceases to amaze me how wide the rears are when I take them off. If you think your snow tires look wimpy, say a prayer for those of us with the 20" 611m 285 square set up! 😂

I remember when I had a 4.6is back in the day. I switched out my OEM 20" staggered setup and installed a custom 18" square setup. It was a lot of fun in the snow and handled much better too. But I felt like it was going to tip over or rip off the rear tires. Hated driving it in anything other than snow. |

And here I am thinking 325s are too small and I need 355s on the rear to sit flush with the side flairs. |
