aftermarket warranties? any advice?

my gf picked up this 3600 mile 2017 x6m. it is out of warranty. it was a BMW corporate car that lived it's short life over seas in Germany.

she would like to get a warranty on it to cover her ass in case it breaks down. she's already had a few electrical things go wrong with it...

can anyone recommend a good aftermarket warranty that will cover anything that might come up?

Following…

Sorry I can't help, but I'm looking myself. Also have a 2017 X6M under warranty till Jan 2022 so want to pull the trigger now.

I've received a quote from Endurance and carchex… both were decent, but it's all great until you have your first claim.

I bought uswarranty for my 2017 X5m - full exclusionary warranty rivaling the best 3rd party plans available such as Route 66 easy street, carmax' s max care (underwritten by CNA), etc. The coverage is actually better than BMWs platinum coverage at less than half the cost (if purchased when still under factory warranty). It already paid a substantial chunk of my premium cost when my vehicle needed Vanos solenoids. My SA described the claims process as very smooth. PM for more details.

Have you had to make any claims with them yet? The last thing I want is insurance that doesn't insure without a fight. that's what my medical insurance is for.

Yes, for Vanos solenoids, as I mentioned in my post.

This looks like it's just a service offered to dealerships. Did you have to go through the dealership, or some other entity to get their warranty?

Everything I click on just refers to dealerships and 'agents'.

I bought it from a dealer (most 3rd party warranties are either sold through dealerships or credit unions). It can be any dealer, not just the selling dealer.
