Possibly have to do with federal jurisdictions within certain countries? Or they up charge for them

It's an option or part of a package on cars sold outside of the U.S.
In German it's called Sonnenschutzverglasung which basically means sun protection glazing. Option code 420 I believe. Years ago when I drove Audis I actually imported the front factory-tinted glass for some models. Got me out of many tickets for tint laws since there was no film on the window. I don't believe this is an option on our cars.

as far as I got information the black factory windows are also not offering UV Sunprotection in The US.
In Germany/EU the serve this purpose. We measured it at the tint workshop. Thatīs why Iīve got them also tinted with UV Protection. |

Very common with tinted windows in europe.
And yes, there is of course an additional cost for it! Is this an option free of charge in the US?? |
