That's an awesome truck mate. Enjoy it and many happy miles...

The X5 M really is an engineering marvel. If I were in the market for a high performance SUV, I'd get this without even test driving its competitors. I believe the praise of the mass audience and "professional reviewers". It's just as fast as the 700 HP Trackhawk with 150 fewer horses and handles even better. Well worth the (rather minimal) price difference.

Congrats on your purchase. Looks sexy. As others have mentioned. There is a great M community (some consider us nuts)

Damn looks nice! There must be some really tall (Shaquille Oneal) people in the front seats. The rear leg room looks smaller than a 2 series.

Never trust what the dealer guys say.
Are you sure this is "Black Fire Edition"?
There are just so many chrome bits and I'm little confused.
Plus, it doesn't have any badge that says "Black Fire"?

I was about to ask the same thing! I think the dealer built a version of black fire. BUT, maybe they didn?t pull through on all details as projected. JUST SAYING, black fire or not.. this thing is BEAUTIFUL, and a beast. Congrats on this buy!!!!

okay but still the badge is missing lol.

Beautiful car none the less, just frustrating as a sales associate myself, that this dude played it off like it was a Black Fire Edition.

Guys like that put a bad name on the business

It is a black fire edition. You can't individual order those seats otherwise. Maybe BMWNA decided against the badge becasue its ugly or maybe the OP removed it. Looks like its just a sticker. If I bought it, id remove it. With that the only difference with a black fire and a regular X5M that can be ordered from the factory with a couple performance parts are the seats. So whats the big deal. Good looking truck, not for me but nonetheless good looking.

Not sure how its frustrating to you as a sales associate..

So the only difference between Black Fire and civic X5M is the seat?
What is the price difference between the two?

I pulled the vin from the plate, it shows option code ZFE black sapphire edition. It says nothing about black fire.

It looks like the black fire edition comes with carbon fiber mirror caps, the name of the car on the dash trim and alcantara steering wheel.

Regardless - what a sweet ride, I am picking mine up on Monday or Tuesday.
Correct....OP's dealers lied to him that is not the Black Fire Edition.

I mean beautiful either way and congrats, but OP please post window sticker!!
