They are sending me the correct filter (dry). No eta yet. Such bad experience. I was ready to ask for a refund today.

Keep us posted! I had a hard time sourcing mine too because of shipping so patience is key here. I really do love mine.

Welp, it was only a matter of time before the dog car took it's first L. My puppy got bored during our 16-hour road trip apparently. Tips on replacements? As far as I can tell I have to take the seat apart.

Charge Pipe

Not to be a pain but could you link that Charge pipe you used? I cant seem to located it on their website. Did you put in new coil packs and spark plugs when you tuned?

I got it through a local shop who has an account with ER but you want to get yours from Ben at r33_RGSport. He'll set you up right.

Also with the RaceChip box, I did do plugs but mostly because I'm OCD. I would recommend plugs before tuning regardless, coil packs depending on mileage.

I'd be wiling to bet he hasn't received them yet or they'd be on. Took a couple weeks for mine to arrive.

BC told me 4-5 weeks when I placed the order last week because they were out of stock. Impatiently waiting lol.

Yeah mine were out of stock as well but luckily a new shipment came in 14 days after I placed the order. Once BC gets them it will only take 3-4 days to arrive.

While I'm waiting for the coils, I've got an appointment to have all four wheels refinished next week since I got a killer deal on them since they were trashed and ordered the SAT shift lever from a forum member yesterday to go with the M Sport wheel.

Oh no just the 451s I put on. They're due for a refinish.

I got a killer deal on the Style 451s I bought earlier this year, but they needed re-done so we finally did that. Went with a shade lighter than factory to create more contrast against the Dark Graphite. I'm a big proponent on contrast in wheels against the body color.

Uniden R7 hardwired with the Blendmount as well and Mirror Tap kit.

Nice! Is that radar detector? How do you like that mod?

So if you remember and care to know the update on my afe intake situation, after 2 plus months of having a large box sitting in my garage with wrong filter in it, the company (I opt to not disclose their name because the guy was on my side dealing with afe but no success) I bought it from issues me a refund. An exciting project turned out to be such shitty experience for me. Sigh 😔

Yep, it is a radar detector, competitor to the Valentine One and it's saved my ass more than I can count lol.

And with the intake, dude I actually had a similar experience trying to source a Burger intake which is how I ended up on the AFE unit. I thought I saw a BMS one for sale in classifieds!

I think I'm almost done with the interior. Swapped the SAT shift lever I got off another member. With the steering wheel, red button, and wireless charger the interior is sooooo much more user friendly. Not bad for a little ol' XLine.

How about cf trim on steering wheel and cf cover for shift knob?

Cars at the dealership getting the rear hatch rattle fixed finally and a check up since the factory warranty runs out on 8/15.

Got a G05 XLine as a loaner and while it does look good on the outside, the interior just doesn't do it for me at all. Too many buttons on the center, too much screen up top. Give me some analog gauges.

I had a loner recently too. I didn't like all the chrome trims on the interior.

I drive a G05 40i for a week straight while the CF trims were being installed. I very preferred the overall experience of my 50i over the new 40i. In terms of styling, the G05 M Sport with extended shadow line looks really nice in a dark color. The interior looks more modern and the ride is much quieter on the G05. However, I like the more rugged looking interior of the F15 and with the M Performance upgrades on the inside and outside, I really like how it looks. So compared to a base 40i, a well optioned F15 50i M Sport to me is much more compelling experience - inside and out.

The M50i, fully loaded, which my friend has is definitely a significant improvement in all respects.

My 2 cents worth…
