I bet man! Hopefully you get it unlocked soon. I can't wait for you to fell the difference.
I'm following. Been itching to do more mods but I've done everything too quickly. Mine is 2017 so I believe it's locked as well.

Shouldn't be unless you had BMW do a software update 2020 or after.

Do it! The waters nice! Stage 1 to stage 2 isn't as a dramatic jump from stock to stage 1, but I do still love stage 2.

They did. They told me recently they bought the tool to do it so it worked out. No issues so far!

Now that you're BM3 stage 1, how are the manual shifts w/ the XHP TCU tune? I've flashed the complimentary BM3 tranny tune, and I actually can feel the faster shifts as well as more clamping power. I would assume the XHP tune is more dramatic?

Do you happen to know where in the engine bay on a 35i the dme is located? Under the manifold like other n55? I've asked a few local shop who want a couple hundred just to pull the dme.

It's behind the intake manifold so you have to take it off to pull the DME out. I paid a couple hours labor plus parts for the new gasket and stuff.

Yea man, XHP is wayyyy more dramatic. I'm on Stage 2 and it shifts like a DCT in Sport mode. HIGHLY recommend.

Writing this on the eve of buying the dog car last year, but it's been a good few days. This weekend we had a paint correction and 5-year ceramic coating done with GTechniq. Today we had the Dorch Stage 1 HPFP and VRSF downpipe along with a Stage 2 93 octane tune. Car is running way better now so going to throw some e85 in the tank this weekend and test out the e30 map and do some logging. Thinking it's time for a set of custom tunes to make use of this hpfp.

Agree with you! sukhk527, you'll need wheel spacers once the flares are installed.

Haha it was a good year for the business so I decided to treat myself a little. But the wife dropped the 'let's start looking for a house' comment this week so good thing I crammed it all in this year

I ran the Stage 2 e30 map last night and it felt freaking amazing. Going to try the Stage 2+ map which is for aftermarket hpfp's today. Also working on some special e30 sauce with WOT808
