Very interested, and likely talk/PM you soon and do want the cross drilled discs too and great if I could source them for front in a way to know they are color matched, and blue works well with me. CTSV gold painted and mustard yellow in other cars so this needs to be different and prefer it over red.

Appreciate any info on this. Cheers.

yes these bolt right up but require OEM F85 rear rotors, you don't need SS lines unless you want to - hear mixed reviews about those but those will definitely stiffest the pedal feel, you may have to change the MS for F85 one - I honestly am not sure but it would make sense since F85 has 6 pistons fronts and larger surface in the rear...I'd look that stuff up on eBay- i think that's your best bet

Just got mine installed… included it in my brake job front and rear so this project wasn't cheap! BUT I don't regret it one bit.

This is a great kit. Matching calipers, brand, and proportion makes this THE kit to get (at a reasonable price too).

Got both front rear pads from porterfield brakes to ensure a good match with compound and design. Don't have pics of the front, but the rears look minty fresh!

Looking great!!! I actually really like the black painted rotor! I was very surprised how good it looks but damn it does! Are you painting the fronts like that too?

You gotta paint the rotor hats. Silver looks good behind silver wheels. Black looks great behind black wheels. Really cleans up the look and eliminates the ratty cast aluminum look that can happen after a while.

I almost pulled the trigger on the Tronik's rear bbk retrofit but I was not a fan of the shape of their caliper... I ended up finding a Brembo GT caliper and retrofitted that onto the rear...
I had a custom bracket manufactured and also custom brake pad was manufactured to fit the rear GT4 caliper and also to cover the whole area of the rear rotor... I'm pretty sure Tronik's pad leaves a bit larger rust ring on the rotor... so the brake pad I designed with help of the manufacturer in California (Porterfield Brakes - made out of R4-S compound) is almost twice the size of the OEM and it covers the whole rotor like OEM without any additional rust ring and also looks like the front OEM pad- the portion that is sticking out the caliper..
The pad I designed also has the brake wear sensor slot and it's a low dust ceramic pad made out of their most aggressive sport compound...
swap is a simple and straightforward thing..
breaks work great, maintain the OEM feel since the rear 4 piston ratio to OEM size is about 101%...
I ended up spending over 3 months developing all this and seems like went through a bunch of pad designs and different brackets....
all in all this whole kit including pads without stainless steel lines ran me about $1300 so compared to $1600 plus pads from Tronik I think it was a no brainer...
If someone is interested in this PM me. I can definitely get these for you... I'm definitely all for getting rid of those ugly rear floaters!

Enjoy!
Right now I'm considering a set of wheels with these specs:

22x10.5" +32 front
22x11.5" +19 rear

I may install your BBK at some point too and I assume that these will clear your rear caliper since the OEM wheels do? But I want to double check.

If you don't know the answer, can you provide exact brake measurement templates so I can make sure?

Thanks

Nice!! Make sure to share pics of the wheels!!
when it comes to the calipers ... the brake caliper sticks out approx. 68mm away from the rotor meanwhile OEM caliper sticks out approx. 42mm away from it.. so there is a difference but hope that clears it.
Just FYI it's very far from OEM wheel spokes - I just measured it’s 72mm away from the spokes.

I am running the same rear wheel size but with a tronik caliper. There is between 2.5-3 inches of clearance from caliper to inner barrel and face. You'll have no issues.

Okay thanks.

Now to alleviate my concerns about the difference in rolling radius of the tires...

If anyone wants to get new decals after rear BBK, check this out

I got mine and put on front. Not only matches with rear but looks brandnew.

The kit comes with 8 decal. The space between M stripes to M wasnt exact, i cut it with razor in half and put M and Stripe separately. Fitment is perfect. Same size with OEM!

Every M owner needs that. BMW decals fade and looks like 10 years old! #Terrible

Cbozz - pleasure doing business with you! Super responsive!

Finally installed mines!
This BBK kit is spot on - amazing quality and adds a much balanced brake feel. For those thinking of upgrading don't hesitate! you won't regret buying at this price point - for what you get in return. As Nike said, "JUST DO IT"

I did however decided to use VHT high temp caliper paint (red) front and on rear BBK for my application.

Some pic from my DIY project
