My X5 is throwing up windshield washer fluid, anyone experience this?

Not sure how this happened. I will have the shop take a look at the next oil change.

Could be a crack in the reservoir. If you try to refill, does it immediately leak? If so, it is likely a crack.

Could it be something else?

Could always be something else; loose hose connecting to the reservoir is another culprit.

It does not leak immediately, it is a slow drip.

I recently had work done to fix the "infamous" sun roof drain block. I suspect they must have somehow punctured the reservoir or a plastic pipe.

I will update later when I get this resolved, the bluish residue on drive way is triggering ocd

I have the same issue. Took everything apart last week to see what was leaking, and it appeared to be the pump. So I ordered a new pump.

Installed the new pump yesterday and it still leaks…but not until the car has been driven. If I fill it up and not go anywhere, it's fine. The vibration of driving must make it leak.

So next week I'll be taking it apart for a third time, to replace the pump grommet / filter and a section of the hose.

Most likely the pump. The ends where the hoses connect to it can crack. It's not too hard to open the fender and get to it.

I had the same problem before, pump was the culprit, changed the pump and every thing is good again
