On the first picture it looks like the G05 is much bigger then the f85 , but then in picture #2 it looks the opposite??? How comparable are they in size? Is that your G05?

I think G05 is longer and wider...but yeah, pictures provides conflicting perspective.

F85 all day long. BMW really missed the mark with the new model.

The X5s are just getting less and less mean looking. The G05 is the least "meanest" of them all. Shame.

Can't agree more, had one for a month while they replaced my motor in mine and was not sold in the slightest.

Interior feels cheapened somehow and a little over the top on the crystal shifter and didn't like the knurling on the air vent scroll wheel. Buttons are flat and feel cheap and just the whole overall interior let me down.

The front is eeh and the rear is a little top heavy and from the rear if you got rid of the badge would you instantly think BMW? but the side feels to thick and not athletic, the body crease is two low. Makes the side feel to heavy and thick. Overall very happy to get my x Back.....

Admittedly biased but F85 hands down for me too. I am sure the G05 will grow on me but will probably take awhile.

I can't help but think Toyota rav4 when I see the g05 from behind. IMO I think the f15 looks more aggressive.

The whole “grow on me” thing kind of proves the point. If it doesn’t immediately make you say “shit, I need that”....then they’ve missed. Fake exhaust tips, grilles that are comically too big, cheap interior, a crystal gear shifter...this doesn’t sound like a BMW.

This. It feels like when the E46 3 series was replaced by the E90 (pre-facelift), exactly the same problems - front looked wrong, rear looked like a Japanese car, sides too slabby. I'm hoping that at least some of the front and rear lights and the grill can be sorted in a mid-life facelift, but I fear they are aiming for Asian markets that quite like this look....

That side line kills the athletic look. It stops and bumps up over the rear wheel. Makes it look like cheap design... trying too hard to embellish the rear fender.

I don't care for the tail lights on the G05/F95. G05/F95/G07 all have some interior issues that should never made it into the production phase or past QC. Also the exhaust is a bit muted for what one would expect on an M50i or X5M but minor gripe. Overall one cannot go wrong with either.
