First F85 X5M Retrofitted With Active Cruise Control and Traffic Jam Assistant

What about a F10 with a manual transmission? Hoping it would work the same as regular cruise and just de-activate when you hit the clutch. Would lose some ability in stop&go traffic but may still help in slow but moving traffic.

Can you post where the wiring for the ACC module goes (pictures if possible). I have all the other components required (DSC + ICM + Kafas) etc

Cant wait for someone to have a G series touch detection sensor emulator. Have an M Performance steering wheel with Active Driving Assistance and can no longer is active driving assistant due to the new steering wheel. Quidzel modules are common in the i3 TJA retrofits for US customers without touch detection sensor on the steering wheels. Also for F15 too.

I'm in the Bay Area as well. I installed TJA on my Pre-LCI, much easier for you in the LCI setup. I used the ebay emulator. You can then follow the coding instructions on the thread mentioned above.

Niceee, i was just doing this retrofit and your videos popped in the IG

It is super easy for F85 owners with Parking Assist because major parts are already supporting the retrofit such ass EDC Premium ACC. Just gotta do correct wiring to the ICM and Kafas from the Radar unit.

TJA can be found here or here for our cars since it requires HOD (Hands On Detection)

From the forum since i did not buy from quizdel. In my case i had to get the newer ACC radar and ICM from an LCI car and then code them and the TJA features. Ç

I noticed you had the center console removed, is that where you are tapping S_CAN_H and S_CAN_L for connectivity to the ICM module?

I was actually working on 5AU instead of 5AT so we can even have more advance Driving Assistant Pro version just like the new G series with all the bells and whistle but i will start with 5AT then if i ever feel like to do iLevel update, will look for the 5AU retrofit if i still not have the F95 X5M yet

But yeah this feature was one of my favorite and glad to know that it is possible to do!
