I assumed that this was similar to the steering wheels w/shift paddles. You probaby need to install all the parts required for this option...then when all the modules/switches are installed...you can then code the option on.
If you don't have the drive experience switch (#3 in pic below) that allows the selection for Sport+, Sport, Comfort, Comfort+, and Eco Pro...then coding Sport+ through BimmerCode isn't enough...you need the correct components to make this happen.

Wont work on BimmerCode, PERIOD. You need someone to code it for you thru eSys there are some codes that are not possible to do on BimmerCode AND BimmerCode also blocks the expert mode the module that you need AFTER you code on eSys. Doesn't matter if you have all the switches or the steering wheel with paddles...BimmerCode alone won't work.

Discussed in the BimmerCode thread. I suggest starting there.

I tried several times to program with Bimmercode. Couldn’t do it. I could change the dash to show the sport+ option however it would not allow me to select it. Finally gave up and changed dash back to regular but left transmission in the sport setting and kept launch control and a couple other fun settings.

It has been a while. It was somewhere in expert mode. There was a cheat sheet somewhere that I found that I used. If I can recall it I will post. The only benefit Sport+ would have given me world be turning off the traction control in Sport mode so I gave up.
