The brake light turned on in my 2016 x5m with 21,000 miles. Whats the average price I should expect to pay to get them changed at the dealer? Also have they done anything to get rid of the brake noises we have on the x5m?

I thought 2016 still got the brake service covered?

I literally just went to the dealership this afternoon to get my maintenance program "refreshed" since I bought my 2017 x5m used. The finance guy sold me an upgraded maintenance package that included brakes and rotors and even inspection 1&2 for the remaining 3 ya/36k miles. The maintenance program refresh was $795 and the upgrade to include brakes and rotors was another $700

I bought the car used with 17,000 miles a few months ago. I haven't took the car to the dealer yet for anything. Will they still allow me to refresh the maintenance program even with the brake light on and ready for oil change service? I don't plan on keeping the car for more than 6 months will this maintenance program even be worth it for me? Also have they done anything to help with the brake squeal or do I have to go with after market pads?
