Have you ever heard about the thing called punctuation? I kindly suggest asking the questions in a way that anybody could read or understand them.

What I was saying is on the blower motor . I can only see 3 bolts . I have watched various youtube vids and they remove 4 bolts. I can not see a 4th bolt . Is their a 4th and where is that bolts location I'm attempting to replace the resistor switch on the blower I hope this was easier to understand

Did you end up tackling this yourself? My wife's X5 is having issues with the blower motor and I'm wondering if its something I want to tackle myself or hand off to a shop to fix.

I ended up taking it to a shop. If it was my car I would have tackled it myself cause if I didn't fix it right I'd be fine with it not working for a bit. But for my wife's car, I wanted to just get it done right once, especially as we had a baby on the way at the time who is now here. Her car is the baby hauler so just wanted to play it safe.

Thanks though. My wife's was also intermittently working and not, so instead of waiting for it to completely die, just bit the bullet and got it fixed. Been working perfectly ever since.

I believe they replaced both. I'll have to double check though. I don't have the invoice in front of me and this was like 2.5 months ago.
