AC issue
Anyone have an issue with their AC?
My AC blows and then it seems it wants to switch mode and stops airflow from the front ac vents. Then it blows again in the front vents. This happens over and over. I’ve changed out the resistor on the blower and the problem is still there. |

Mine does the same thing when that low of voltage, believe it goes into Apollo 13 mode and shuts down all non critical systems to have enough juice to start the engine. Proper resting voltage with everything on but engine off is 12-12.5 volts and around 11-11.5+ momentarily when cranking. Recommend having battery checked and replaced before it completely dies.

I thought I was going to have to replace the blower too!
Guess I’ll buy a new battery and see if it fixes this issue. Is there a way to check the battery voltage through BimmerCode or bimmerLink? |

As a test, turn off Sync and rear AC. See if it can maintain. I know that's not a fix but when it's super hot outside and I don't have any rear passengers, I turn off rear AC and gives much more power to the front blowers.
