If you are planning to do the same mod, please be aware that if you purchase any dual tips that are welded to far apart from each other WILL NOT fit. the gap between the two tips must be less than 4 mm in order to fit tightly into the existing M sport bumper hole.

Also, if the dual tips are any longer than 10 inches, it will hit the aluminum heat protector in the back.

So please choose wisely after measuring several times.

I also did the muffler delete with the x-pipe and dual Vibrant resonators. Sounds freakishly good!! I will post a clip soon.

Looks great bro! Glad you were able to fit them in!
I might have to buy some 4" again lol

Thanks. Your 3.5" look great as well. This is a hassle to fit into the bumper and correctly position if you are not working with people who are enthusiasts themselves.

You'd probably need a little bigger resonator, but N55 engine makes a nice sound as well.

The tips are not Vibrant, the resonators are. I don't know the brand of the tips. Got them from a friend.

Were you able to install the tips yet? I am about to order a set of tips for my car and from my measurements it looks like a very tight squeeze with the dual 4 inch tips in the msport bumper.
No I wasn't able to get them installed. It was to difficult for the shops I went to. Also best bet would be 3.5" I think. Would give you enough clearance and still look good. I just ordered a set I'm going to try. 66mm in 89mm out.

Did you ever install the black 3.5" tips? Pics?

A lot of good info in this thread. Thank you. Put these on today. 2.5" in and 3.5" out. Got them from a Cadillac website because these were the shortest I could find that were staggered and angled.

Added a pic of 3.5 vs 4"
